The VBN, VBN-DS line heavy duty process pumps, available in
double-casing or wet pit configurations, are vertical multistage,
diffuser type.

Pump components geometry, optimised through hydraulic,
structural, thermal and dynamic F.E.M. analysis, lead to an high
product reliability. Particularly to avoid seizures correlated to
dangerous resonances, the F.E.M. dynamic analysis is carried out on
all manufactured pumps taking into account the proper site
operating conditions.
Closed type impeller with front and rear wear rings as well as
balancing holes, to minimise the axial thrust.
Large eye single suction or double suction 1st. stage impeller to
meet low NPSH requirements.
Deep stuffing boxes, designed in accordance to API 682 Std.,
suitable to accept any type of mechanical or packing seal.
Labyrinths and deflectors at either bearing housing to maximise
protection against dirt.
A wide range of sizes and material combinations complete the
variety of the offered product.

Fully designed according to latest edition of API 610
Std.
Number of stages rangeable from 1 to 14.
Pump shaft in one or at the maximum two pieces, fully machined to
respect the more restrictive run-out API limits.
Air fan cooling system provided on bearing bracket.
As a standard, the rotor axial thrust is supported by a duplex oil
lubricated ball angular contact type bearings.
Renewable bushings are provided at all interstage casings and
columns.
